About the Role
Webster University in Tashkent is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, employee administration, HR documentation, onboarding, faculty support, and compliance with Uzbekistan labor legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare employment-related documents, contracts and verification letters.
- Support payroll, vacation administration and employee benefits.
- Assist with onboarding of local and international faculty, including service contracts and visa-related documentation.
- Update employee records in Mehnat.uz and ensure compliance with labor legislation.
- Support performance evaluation processes and HR compliance initiatives.
- Provide HR guidance to employees and managers and assist with employee relations matters.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Law/Legal Studies).
- 1–2 years of experience in HR documentation and personnel administration.
- Knowledge of the Uzbekistan labor code and HR documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Uzbek is required; Russian is an advantage.
