Safety Manager

A U.S.-based trucking and logistics company is looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Manager to join our team in Tashkent.

We are looking for a strong professional who can manage safety operations, ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, control driver safety performance, and maintain high safety standards across the company’s trucking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control daily safety operations within the trucking company.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, HOS rules, ELD standards, and internal safety procedures.
• Monitor driver safety performance, violations, accidents, inspections, and compliance issues.
• Investigate accidents, safety incidents, violations, and non-compliance cases.
• Develop, update, and implement safety policies, SOPs, corrective action plans, and internal procedures.
• Conduct safety training, driver coaching sessions, and compliance briefings.
• Monitor fleet safety metrics and prepare regular safety reports for management.
• Work closely with Dispatch, Fleet, ELD, Compliance, HR, and Management teams.
• Identify safety risks and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, reports, and driver compliance files.
• Support continuous improvement of company safety culture and operational discipline.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Safety Management within the logistics or trucking industry.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, HOS rules, ELD systems, and trucking safety procedures.
• Experience managing driver safety performance, violations, accidents, and compliance investigations.
• Ability to develop and implement safety policies, SOPs, and corrective action plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting safety training and driver coaching sessions.
• Ability to monitor fleet safety metrics and prepare reports.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• High level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/safety management systems.
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with U.S.-based trucking companies.
• Strong understanding of driver qualification files, inspections, claims, and accident prevention.
• Experience with ELD platforms and safety monitoring tools.
• Ability to build clear safety processes and improve driver compliance.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
