Associate Payroll Manager

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for local and expatriate staff in compliance with employment contracts and national labor law.

Ensure accurate accounting of salaries, bonuses, social contributions, and personal income taxes.

Support monthly closings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting in line with corporate timelines.

Liaise with HR on changes to compensation, benefits, and staff movement for payroll accuracy.

Ensure timely submission of tax and social payment reports to local authorities.

Assist in internal and external audits by providing payroll and accounting documentation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, tax codes, and accounting standards in Uzbekistan.

Process payroll audits, unemployment claims, employment verifications, sick & vacation accruals, and employee correspondence.

Maintain records and filing system for payroll department in a confidential manner, including employee files, wage garnishments, payroll reports, Memoranda of Understanding, union payments, workers’ compensation payments, and deferred compensation plans.

Process payment of payroll to employees in a timely manner.

3-5 years experience in Accounting, HR & Payroll.

Knowledge Basic principles and practices of accounting. Record keeping, report preparation, filing methods and records management techniques.

Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines.

Proficiency in 1C, Microsoft Excel, and other payroll or reporting tools.

Ability to interpret and apply payroll-related laws, regulations, and company policies.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities for payroll discrepancies.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, Uzbek, and Russian.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive payroll data.

Collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate effectively between HR, Finance, and regional offices.
