Vacancy: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Country Manager (Fintech, BNPL, POS lending, Payment systems), UAE, Dubai
A fast-growing Fintech company based in Dubai, UAE, and part of a large fintech group, in search of a Fintech COO.
Our Fintech team has launched new business lines in the UAE.
We are seeking a COO whose primary mission will be to build from the ground up and launch the efficient operations of our operational teams in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and launch core business operations from scratch: Collections (Soft, Hard & Legal), Sales, Partner Account Management, and Call Center
- Develop and implement operational processes and a unified approach for all stages of the customer journey
- Build and scale the team from 3 to 100 FTEs, including full-cycle recruitment, training, and team development
- Design and implement operating principles, a motivation system, and KPIs for all operational teams
- Participate in financial modeling, operational expense planning, and budgeting
- Launch new products and scale existing ones in collaboration with business teams
- Implement IT solutions (CRM, collections automation, scoring systems)
We expect from you:
- Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Operations/Executive Director, or Head of Customer Service
- Background in FinTech / Microfinance and/or experience with BNPL, POS lending
- Hands-on experience managing teams of 50+ people
- Deep understanding of customer-facing functions: Collections (Soft, Hard & Legal), Sales, PAM, Call Center
- Experience building teams and establishing business processes from scratch
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make swift decisions, and take full ownership of outcomes
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach and readiness to dive deep into processes when necessary
- Systematic approach and proven ability to see complex projects through to completion
