Dispatch Specialist

About the company:
MONDO MOTION is a logistics company operating in the transportation industry. We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate daily trucking operations, communicate with drivers and customers, and help ensure shipments are delivered safely and on schedule.

Job Summary:
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and monitoring loads, communicating with drivers, tracking shipments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate updates throughout each trip.

Responsibilities:

• Source and book loads through DAT, Truckstop, and other platforms.
• Plan upcoming loads based on truck location, driver availability, and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Negotiate rates and terms with brokers.
• Verify broker authority, creditworthiness, and payment terms.
• Work with Zippy ELD and QM TMS.
• Provide dispatch instructions and monitor shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers, brokers, and the tracking team.
• Maintain load documentation, including rate confirmations, BOLs, and PODs.
• Resolve operational issues and report important updates to management.
  
  Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in U.S. trucking dispatch.
• Knowledge of U.S. freight markets, load boards, and load booking procedures.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of HOS, rate confirmations, BOLs, and PODs.
• Experience with TMS, ELD, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
