Senior Manager of the Office of the Registrar

Education

• Higher-professional degree in IT field, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction;
• The minimum degree - Bachelor/Specialist
• Master degree is preferred

Work experience

• A minimum of five years with a bachelor's degree;
• Or a minimum of three years with a master's degree in a related field.
• in Higher Education, particularly student services management;
• in data gathering and identifying requirements for developing educational database software;
• in developing user interfaces

Knowledge

• knowledge of the Republic of Kazakhstan legislation in the field of education;
• knowledge of the educational system of the USA and European countries;
• knowledge of student records and registration business processes and systems;
• working knowledge of project management techniques;
• experience with SQL;
• working knowledge of requirement definition techniques\Working knowledge of relational databases;
• understanding of database systems and data integration;
• experience in working with internal IT departments in the development of specifications;
• ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of proficiency levels;
• Fluent English, Kazakh and Russian.
• Computer literacy:
• advanced user of MS Office (with specific
• experience in MS Access), Excel, PowerPoint;
• experience in Student Information Systems
