This role is ideal for someone who is sharp, structured, and dependable, capable of owning the full employee lifecycle — from attracting talent to offboarding — in a fast-paced AI startup environment. You will be the first and confidential point of contact for all people matters, and the person who builds and runs the processes that keep hiring, onboarding, and performance disciplined and consistent.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles, own job description creation, and build a structured, repeatable recruitment process end to end
- Design and lead a standardized screening and interview framework, including behavioral and cultural assessment with consistent questions per role
- Own the hiring process — contracts, reference checks, and a clear approval and negotiation structure
- Build and run a structured onboarding program, from pre-boarding through induction and the first-week integration plan
- Establish and facilitate the 30-day and 90-day review process, document outcomes, and confirm probation results formally
- Design and run the performance review process — templates, timelines, and calibration — and coach managers on delivering effective feedback
- Build individual development plans and connect career growth to the company's wider hiring and talent plans
- Define and maintain core HR policies and processes, and act as the confidential point of contact for people matters and grievance handling
- Lead a structured offboarding process and analyze exit and retention data to surface patterns and insights for leadership
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or equivalent generalist role
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment documentation, and people operations
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and process-building skills, with sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with discretion and empathy
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office tools; experience with HR or applicant tracking systems is an advantage
- Fluent in Uzbek, English and Russian
