Branch Manager

An international company is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead and develop its existing local business operations in Kazakhstan.

This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for sales performance, operational management, business development, financial planning, and team management.

You will manage a small local team with 2 direct reports.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the business unit in Kazakhstan;
• Drive sales growth and achieve commercial targets;
• Full P&L responsibility, including Revenue, GP, and operating expenses;
• Manage and develop the local team;
• Set goals and supervise employee performance;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients;
• Lead budgeting and financial planning processes;
• Review and manage contracts required for business operations;
• Prepare regular reports for regional management;
• Participate in strategic business planning and implementation;
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and company standards.

• Proven experience in a management / branch or management / business development role;
• Strong experience in sales and operational management;
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning;
• Strong leadership and communication skills;
• Experience managing a small team;
• English level Upper-Intermediate / Advanced is mandatory, as all communication with the foreign line manager and headquarters is conducted in English;
• Fluent Russian and Kazakh;
• Willingness to travel when required;
• Current Kazakhstan Driving Licence.
• Qualification:
• Economics and/or business background or completed course of study in engineering, mining or technical studies.
