Lead Delivery Manager

Andersen is hiring a Lead Delivery Manager for a UK-based digital bank, focused on onboarding customers to a core banking system. The project aims to diversify savings products and improve market competitiveness.

The customer is a UK-based financial services provider specializing in digital banking solutions. Operating on a fully cloud-based platform, the company offers a range of innovative products, including savings accounts, loans, and mortgages, designed to cater to specific customer needs. With a strong focus on simplicity, agility, and customer-centric design, they aim to modernize the banking experience. The company is regulated by the UK’s financial authorities and has earned recognition for its innovative approach in the financial services sector.

The project is focused on onboarding new customers onto a core banking system for various types of savings accounts. The initiative aims to diversify the bank’s savings product offering, improve market flexibility, and enhance competitiveness while supporting mortgage services by increasing liquidity.

Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end delivery of a mobile savings application.
• Planning, tracking, and controlling project activities in a busy and dynamic environment.
• Driving change delivery in line with the agreed change framework.
• Creating and maintaining detailed project plans using MS Project Planner.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Monitoring risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.

Must-haves:

• Strong experience in project management and delivery of change for 4+ years.
• Experience in financial services for 3+ years.
• Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Project Planner.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven background in project management.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience delivering technology or mobile application projects.
