We are seeking a D365 ERP Finance Training Lead to support the development and standardization of functional expertise within our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance practice. This role combines hands-on functional consulting with responsibility for designing, delivering, and maintaining structured training and mentoring programs for junior consultants.
Responsibilities:
Functional Consulting:
- Lead and support implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into D365 Finance functional designs
- Configure and support core Finance modules:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- Budgeting and Cash & Bank Management
- Support data migration, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization
- Collaborate with Technical Consultants, Solution Architects, and Business Stakeholders
Training & Mentoring:
- Design and deliver training programs for junior consultants with no prior D365 experience
- Explain Finance concepts (accounting, financial processes) in a clear and structured way
- Conduct:
- Classroom-style sessions
- Hands-on workshops
- Demo and sandbox-based learning
- Create and maintain:
- Training materials
- Step-by-step guides
- Practice scenarios and test cases
- Mentor juniors during:
- First project involvement
- Shadowing and supervised tasks
- UAT and support phases
- Assess progress and provide structured feedback
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Experience training or mentoring junior consultants from scratch
- Ability to explain complex topics in a simple and practical way
- Hands-on experience with:
- Business process mapping
- Functional design documents (FDD)
- UAT support
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Experience building internal academies or onboarding programs
- Experience with D365 Finance certifications
- Background in accounting, finance, or ERP consulting
- Experience working in international or distributed teams
