About the Role
We are looking for a CVM Tribe Lead to take full ownership of customer value management across the Birmarket customer lifecycle, with a clear mandate to drive GMV growth through retention, purchase frequency, cross-sell, and personalization.
You will lead several cross-functional CVM teams covering: Customer Acquisition, Cross-sell & Upsell, Churn Prevention, Retention & Purchase Frequency, Gamification & Engagement, Recommendation Models.
This is a senior role at the intersection of e-commerce, analytics, product, and marketing, with direct and measurable impact on GMV and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the CVM strategy for Birmarket, focused on increasing GMV, retention, and purchase frequency.
- Lead multiple cross-functional teams across CVM, analytics, product, and marketing.
- Design and scale customer segmentation frameworks, lifecycle programs, recommendation systems, churn, propensity, and cross-sell models.
- Launch and optimize personalized customer journeys across the e-commerce funnel (onboarding, first-to-second purchase, repeat purchase, reactivation).
- Drive cross-sell, upsell, and recommendation-driven initiatives that directly contribute to GMV growth.
- Develop gamification and engagement mechanics in close collaboration with the loyalty team.
- Lead personalization of offers, promotions, pricing incentives, content, and recommendations.
- Build a strong culture of experimentation and A/B testing with clear GMV impact measurement.
- Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Marketing, Tech, and Loyalty teams.
- Own and track key KPIs, including GMV growth driven by CVM initiatives, retention & churn, purchase frequency, uplift and ROI from CVM programs.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in CVM, CRM, loyalty, or customer analytics within e-commerce, marketplaces, or digital consumer platforms.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce customer behavior and purchase drivers.
- Solid analytical background, including customer segmentation, recommendation systems, behavioral and predictive modeling, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience leading multiple teams in agile environments.
- Ability to work effectively at the intersection of data, product, and commercial strategy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent in English; Azerbaijani and/or Russian are a plus.
