Legal and Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Legal and Compliance Manager, who will help us to support the business in building a strong compliance framework, managing risks and doing the right thing. The role will have a direct reporting line to Cluster Head.

The Legal and Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal and regulatory matters within the organization (including CEA cluster). This role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing contracts, providing legal advice, developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

Legal Advisory:

• Provide legal guidance and legal support for all business activity;
• Draft, review & negotiate contracts, agreements & legal documents;
• Protection & representation of the company's interests in relations with the state authorities, interaction with insurance companies & control over compensation for damage from insurance events;
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations. Preparation of legal opinions & conclusions on the application of legislation.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Develop and implement effective compliance programs and policies for CEA Cluster;
• Ensuring compliance of the company's activities with the requirements of the law, while maintaining a balance between risk, the likelihood of its occurrence, and the achievement of the company's goals;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues;
• Identify and assess legal and compliance risks;
• Develop strategies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 5 years of experience in legal roles.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
