Claims Specialist (USA Trucking company)

Martian Express Co., a US dry van carrier (~200 trucks, OTR/regional/dedicated), is hiring a Claims Specialist for our Tashkent office. You'll own vehicle and cargo claims end to end: opening files in TMS within 24 hours, collecting driver statements and Samsara dashcam evidence, managing repair estimates and carrier or insurance negotiations, and recovering salvage value to reduce company losses. You'll run mandatory post-accident compliance checks (Driver Qualification File, Hours of Service, drug/alcohol testing) before any claim closes, handle driver cost recovery with Accounting, and keep the claims tracker and weekly reports accurate for the Claims Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and manage vehicle and cargo claim files from intake to closure
• Collect evidence: driver statements, photos, dashcam footage, police reports
• Negotiate with insurance carriers, body shops, and towing vendors
• Recover salvage value on damaged cargo to minimize net loss
• Complete post-accident compliance audits before closing claims
• Coordinate driver cost recovery with Accounting
• Maintain accurate claim statuses and weekly reports

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years in claims, insurance, logistics/trucking, or admin/compliance
• Strong written and spoken English; Russian a plus
• Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, comfortable with multiple open cases
• Confident on the phone with drivers, carriers, and adjusters
• Bonus: TMS/telematics experience (e.g. Samsara), FMCSA familiarity
