Management Trainee (Future Store Manager)

About This Recruitment

This is not a regular staff recruitment. We are looking for future managers and business leaders who will grow together with our company.

During the recruitment period, we will hold several company information sessions and interviews over one week. From all applicants, only one candidate will be selected for this position.

The starting salary is USD 400 per month. This is considered a training period where you will learn every aspect of restaurant operations.

For high-performing employees, this stage is expected to last approximately six months. After demonstrating the required leadership and operational skills, you will be promoted to Store Manager, with a salary of USD 1,000–1,500 per month.

We are not looking for someone who wants to remain a staff member. We are looking for someone who wants to become a leader and grow our business together.

Salary

- Training Period: USD 400/month

- Store Manager: USD 1,000–1,500/month

- General Manager: USD 2,000–2,500/month

- Area Head: 5% of the operating profit of the assigned area

As the company expands to around 20 stores, outstanding Area Heads may have the opportunity to earn approximately USD 7,000 per month, depending on performance.

Working Hours

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

- Two days off per week.

- Weekly days off will be arranged with the store team.

About Our Restaurant

We are a Japanese-style Izakaya owned and operated by a Japanese founder.

Our restaurant serves authentic Japanese food as well as alcoholic beverages, including beer, highballs, sake, and other drinks. Employees should therefore be comfortable working in an environment where alcohol is served.

Job Description

To fully understand restaurant operations, you will work in both the dining area and the kitchen.

Front of House

- Customer service

- Serving food and drinks

- Preparing beverages (including alcoholic drinks)

- Cash register operation

- Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant

Your main responsibilities include:

- Cutting vegetables

- Cutting meat

- Food preparation

- Plating dishes

- Basic kitchen preparation

Requirements

English is Required

All management meetings, including meetings with the Japanese founder, are conducted primarily in English.

Because of this, employees who wish to become Store Managers or General Managers must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Strong English communication skills are essential for promotion and for taking on greater responsibilities within the company.

Career Path

Restaurant Staff - USD 400/month

Store Manager (Manage up to three restaurants) - USD 1,000–1,500/month

General Manager (Manage multiple stores and multiple Store Managers) - USD 2,000–2,500/month

Area Head (Responsible for an entire region) - Receive 5% of the operating profit from your assigned area.
