Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting activities related to the company’s trucking brokerage operations.
- Prepare, review, and process customer and carrier invoices.
- Verify load details, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proof of delivery documents, and supporting paperwork before payment or invoicing.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and delayed payments.
- Communicate directly with customers, carriers, factoring companies, and internal departments regarding payment and documentation issues.
- Submit invoices and supporting documents to factoring companies accurately and on time.
- Reconcile customer payments, factoring advances, reserves, fees, and deductions.
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, duplicate invoices, and missing documents.
- Maintain accurate financial and transaction records in the QuickBooks and MVMNT (TMS)
- Prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports for management.
- Assist with cash-flow monitoring and payment scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial, customer, and company information.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Russian language proficiency is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
