Finance Partner | Birmarket

Birmarket is the largest marketplace in Azerbaijan, serving hundreds of thousands of customers and merchants across the country. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Growth Finance Partner to become a strategic finance business partner for our Marketing and Commercial teams.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of Finance, Marketing, and Commerce, helping shape growth initiatives, optimize unit economics, and drive business performance through data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Own financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Marketing and Commercial functions.

• Partner with stakeholders on promotional calendars, marketing campaigns, credit programs, and growth initiatives.

• Build business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions and investments.

• Act as the finance owner of the 1P business, including pricing, inventory turnover, and margin management.

• Develop and optimize merchant commissions, customer pricing, and marketplace tariffs.

• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, ARPU, ARPPU, LTV, customer retention, and overall business performance.

• Analyze business results and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or similar roles.

• Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, retail-tech, or other digital businesses.

• Proven track record of partnering with Marketing, Commercial, Growth, or Product teams.

• Experience working with 1P sales models and strong understanding of e-commerce unit economics.

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

• Strong understanding of key metrics such as Traffic, Conversion Rate, Churn, LTV, ARPU, ARPPU, Take Rate, and Inventory Turnover.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (both written and spoken).

• SQL knowledge is a strong advantage.
