We are looking for an experienced lawyer to support an iGaming business across international jurisdictions. In this role, you will work with licensing, regulators, and corporate structuring, as well as participate in the development of key company policies and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Legal support of the process of obtaining, renewing, and maintaining iGaming licenses in various jurisdictions.
- Liaison with offshore and local regulators and licensing authorities.
- Preparation, review, and support of licensing application packages, including corporate documents, policies and procedures, UBO disclosures, KYC/AML, responsible gaming, and other regulatory materials.
- Monitoring of legislative changes and regulatory requirements in key iGaming jurisdictions.
- Legal support for structuring an international group of companies.
- Participation in the development and updating of the company’s internal policies: AML/KYC, privacy, terms & conditions, bonus terms, responsible gaming, complaints handling, and other user-facing and operational documents.
Requirements
- Higher legal education.
- At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in iGaming / fintech.
- Hands-on experience in obtaining and/or supporting licenses and liaising with regulators.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and international structuring.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in English.
- Confident legal English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage projects independently, work across multiple jurisdictions, and quickly adapt to new regulatory requirements.
- High attention to detail, a business-oriented approach to legal risks, and the ability to propose practical solutions for the business.
Would be an advantage:
- Experience working with licenses in Curaçao, Anjouan, Isle of Man, Malta, or other iGaming jurisdictions.
- Understanding of B2C and B2B iGaming business models.
- Experience in drafting user-facing and regulatory documents: Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Bonus Terms, AML Policy, Responsible Gaming Policy.
- Experience working within an international group of companies or with offshore structures.
