Legal Team Lead

We are looking for a strong Legal Manager in the iGaming sector. You will be responsible for managing gambling licensing across multiple international jurisdictions (Curaçao, Anjouan, Tobique, etc.), building and maintaining compliance frameworks, working directly with regulators, and leading the legal team.

Responsibilities:

Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

• Managing the full lifecycle of gambling license applications across multiple jurisdictions (Curaçao, Anjouan, Tobique, etc.);
• Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring timely adaptation of client compliance frameworks;
• Liaising with licensing authorities and regulators.

Client Legal Support

• Providing legal support to clients throughout the licensing process and ongoing operational activities;
• Reviewing and advising on client business structures to meet regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Management

• Building, managing, and mentoring a team of lawyers;
• Setting team KPIs, managing workload distribution, and ensuring quality of legal deliverables.

Corporate Support

• Corporate structuring (holding structures, etc.);
• Supporting M&A transactions, partnerships, and B2B agreements.

AML

• Ensuring AML policies comply with local regulations.

Risk Management & Legal Strategy

• Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks;
• Developing strategic legal roadmaps aligned with business expansion into new markets;
• Preparing legal opinions and risk assessments on new jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• Higher legal education

• 3–5+ years of experience in iGaming and licensing.

• Hands-on experience in obtaining and maintaining offshore gambling licenses independently (not just participating in the process), including jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Anjouan, Tobique, Kahnawake, etc.

• Experience managing and scaling legal teams.

• Experience working with international iGaming operators, aggregators, and B2B providers.

• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements across major gambling jurisdictions, including the current Curaçao licensing reform

• Knowledge of responsible gaming principles and requirements.

• Strong background in corporate law.

• Experience building and scaling legal departments.

• Strategic planning and project management skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing regulatory environment.

• Languages: English and Russian — mandatory.
