Senior DBA

• Work with databases: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MySQL, ScyllaDB (Cassandra), Redis

• Collaborate with developers to design and optimize queries

• Configure and maintain data backup and recovery processes

• Set up database monitoring

• Ensure security and enforce data access policies

• Maintain data integrity and consistency in distributed systems

• Optimize performance: configure database parameters, indexes, partitioning; manage replication and sharding in distributed systems

• Identify and optimize slow queries

• Automate routine administration tasks via scripts and CI/CD

• Troubleshoot incidents and diagnose database issues

• Plan capacity and scale database clusters

• Experience with PostgreSQL: performance tuning, replication, partitioning, sharding, cluster architecture

• Experience with ClickHouse: table design, cluster setup, query optimization

• Understanding of HA architecture patterns: quorum, leader election, split-brain prevention, fencing; hands-on experience with relevant tooling (e.g. Patroni, HAProxy, Keepalived)

• Deep knowledge of SQL and experience administering large, high-load databases

• Understanding of database migration concepts

• Experience with backup and recovery strategies, statistics management, partitioning, and indexing

• Experience setting up monitoring using Grafana

• Experience with cloud databases in AWS

• Experience with version control systems

• Practical experience in analyzing and improving SQL query performance and database structures

• Practical experience in building fault-tolerant configurations and disaster recovery plans

• Fluent Russian
