Store Manager

HLA Group is an international fashion company with over 20 years of experience and a strong retail presence across Asia. The brand is entering the Kazakhstan market and launching its operations from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to join an international fashion project at its early development stage in the region.

Position Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store as a flagship representation of the brand, driving commercial success while delivering an exceptional and consistent client experience. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of premium retail standards.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing retail team
• Establish a strong client-centric culture aligned with brand values
• Manage performance, coaching, and succession planning

Commercial Performance

• Drive store sales and exceed business targets
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Implement strategic initiatives to optimize store performance

Client Experience

• Ensure the highest standards of customer service and brand presentation
• Build long-term relationships with key clients
• Act as a brand ambassador within the local market

Operational & Financial Management

• Oversee all store operations and ensure compliance with brand standards
• Manage inventory, stock flow, and visual merchandising
• Take ownership of store P&L, budgeting, and cost control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or related field preferred
• 4–6 years of retail experience, including leadership roles
• Experience in international or premium fashion brands is highly preferred
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Kazakh (Chinese is an advantage)
