Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Energy Engineer specializing in solar energy.

The Energy Engineer will be responsible for the design, technical analysis, and optimization of solar PV systems for both client projects and the company's own PV parks and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role includes preparing engineering solutions from the concept stage through implementation and operation.

Key responsibilities also include collaboration with regulatory authorities, grid operators, and permitting bodies to ensure compliance with Cyprus energy regulations and technical standards. The engineer will support grid connection applications, review technical documentation, coordinate with contractors and EPC partners, and assist in improving system performance and efficiency across projects.

The position requires close cooperation with project managers, installers, and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field

• >5 years of experience with solar PV systems

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
