The Reservations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to Marriott brand standards. This role supports the hotel’s revenue strategy by maximizing room sales, optimizing conversion, and maintaining rate integrity.
The position requires strong operational control, analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop a reservations team in a dynamic business environment.
Reservation Supervisor Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Supervise daily reservations operations (individual, corporate, and group bookings)
Ensure timely and accurate processing of inquiries via email, phone, OTA, GDS, and brand channels
Monitor and maintain agreed SLA response times
Oversee correct data entry in PMS
Ensure accuracy of rates, availability, restrictions, and inventory management
Revenue Support
Work closely with the Revenue Manager to implement pricing and inventory strategies
Ensure rate integrity and channel parity across all distribution platforms
Monitor pickup, booking pace, cancellation trends, and forecast accuracy
Support upselling and cross-selling initiatives
Assist in achieving budgeted ADR, Occupancy, and RevPAR targets
Group & Corporate Bookings
Supervise processing of group reservations and rooming lists
Coordinate with Sales & Events teams on contracted business
Monitor deposits, guarantees, and payment follow-up
Ensure accurate system setup for group blocks
Team Leadership
Supervise and support Reservations Agent
Conduct training on Marriott brand standards and systems
Monitor quality of guest communication and service excellence
Prepare work schedules and manage workload distribution
Participate in performance evaluations and development planning
Quality Control
Monitor OTA extranets and distribution channels
Coordinate with Front Office regarding overbooking situations and special requests
Reservation Supervisor Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office in a 4–5 star hotel
Previous experience in an international hotel chain preferred
Solid understanding of hotel revenue metrics (ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, Conversion Rate)
Strong leadership and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical mindset
Ability to perform under pressure during high-demand periods
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with Opera PMS and Marriott systems is an advantage
Languages
Fluent English
Russian – fluent
Uzbek – an advantage
