Operations Manager / Office Manager (Astana)
Key role under the COO
EMSIT is an international outsourcing company working with the U.S. market (administrative support, e-commerce operations, medical billing, back-office services).
We are launching a new operations office in Astana and are looking for a strong Operations Manager who will become the core of the office, build processes, manage the team, and ensure the stable functioning of the department.
This role is for someone who wants growth, loves order and processes, knows how to take responsibility, and strives to work in an international business environment.
What You Will Do:
You will be the right hand of the COO and the face of the company in Astana.
Your responsibilities will include:
Office & Operations:
- Organizing and administering the new office in Astana: equipment, order, discipline control.
- Managing daily business processes and ensuring smooth operation of all functions.
- Monitoring schedules, attendance, and staff KPIs.
- Supporting teams working with U.S. clients.
HR & People Management:
- Searching for candidates, conducting initial screening and interviews (operators, admin support).
- Running onboarding and employee adaptation processes.
- Operational management of a small team: setting tasks, monitoring performance, motivating staff.
Analytics & Communication:
- Maintaining reports and ensuring compliance with internal regulations.
- Daily communication with leadership and participation in office scaling.
- Contributing to the development of internal work standards and process improvement.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience in HR, recruitment, office management, or operations.
- Can independently make decisions and organize the work of others.
- Is highly responsible, structured, and result-oriented.
- Is proactive: sees a problem, solves it, suggests improvements.
- Is communicative and stress-resistant.
- Is willing to work night shifts according to U.S. time: 18:00–03:00 (AST).
- Has English level C1–C2 (communication with HQ, documentation).
