We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst experienced in Healthcare. This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.
We are looking for a motivated and driven Senior Business Analyst to provide strategic business analysis and IT consulting services. At this position you will be able to participate in development of high-quality solutions that enable Healthcare industry to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
The focus of this position is to work closely with the business stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of the customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.
Our projects are related to designing and implementing solutions for key players in the healthcare industry in North America, Europe and the Middle East. The solutions are related to healthcare information management, software-as-medical-devices, healthcare information portals and mobile apps as well as platforms for medical research and clinical trials.
Main responsibilities:
Alongside other key stakeholders such as Sales/Account Managers, Project Managers, and Solution Architects, you will:
- Lead complex Healthcare projects during all stages: presales, initiation, planning, execution, submission package preparation, go-live.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, facilitate daily meetings and presentations to identify requirements, share ideas and findings.
- Perform requirements analysis to determine the best solutions, and influence business decisions.
- Document and communicate the results of your efforts.
- Identify and dig into any issue during project execution providing general guidance and necessary leadership to mitigate related risks.
- Proactively and reactively identify improvement opportunities, especially related to standardization of processes and working best practices.
- Ready to develop in this domain and participate in all kinds of conferences/exhibitions and webinars.
Required experience and knowledge: - 5+ years of professional experience in IT Business Analyst position.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare sector (provider, payer, drug development, pharmaceutical, etc.).
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience working in a pre-sale environment from solutioning to client communication.
- Knowledge of software development/Product lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall), and IT roles.
- Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws, including but not limited to HIPAA.
- Ability to establish effective, accurate, appropriate, and timely communication within teams.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Fluent English.
Qualification and Education: - Baccalaureate degree in health information management or a related healthcare field, or 4+ years of experience in the area (nice to have).
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, CDA standards and EHR/HIE software (nice to have).
- Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws, including but not limited to HIPAA.
- Familiarity with US/EU/GULF health care relevant legislation and standards for the protection of health information and patient privacy.
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers.
- Attention to detail necessary.
Requirements: - Experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using IT, or will to do so.
- Experience in requirements definition using a wild range of BA techniques and tools, deployment of business requirements to information systems, risk management, or will to do so.
- Ability to follow rigorous system development life cycle, to use quality and project management best practices, and to ensure compliance with processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements, including change control and problem management procedures.
- Strong organization, facilitation, written and oral communication, presentation skills, and persistent in the face of obstacles or challenges.
- Ability to maintain sufficient business and technical expertise to be comfortable communicating business and technical requirements with a wide audience.
- Ability to educate business users and management on new business processes and procedures.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English (B2+).
