About the Project:
Fuel card sales in the U.S. (all sales are conducted within the United States).
Project launch: March 2024.
Part of a logistics group: The project is a division of a U.S. trucking logistics group, which is the market leader in Uzbekistan.
The company is a registered IT Park resident with offices in Tashkent (two offices), Chicago, and Orlando.
Purpose of the Role:
The Head of Billing Department is responsible for overseeing all billing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. This role focuses on optimizing billing processes, managing the billing team, improving financial reporting accuracy, and supporting overall business efficiency through effective revenue management.
Key Responsibilities:
Organization and management of the billing department’s operations (planning, supervision, and task allocation).
Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoice issuance, acts, and financial documentation.
Monitoring and optimization of processes related to billing, settlements, and period closing.
Collaboration with the sales department, accounting, customer support, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy.
Analysis of financial indicators and preparation of reports based on the department’s performance results.
Development and implementation of billing standards and regulations.
Participation in the automation and improvement of billing systems.
Training and professional development of department employees.
Qualifications:
Higher education (in Economics, Finance, or Technical fields).
At least 3 years of experience in billing, finance, accounting, or analytics.
Team management experience will be an advantage.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, document flow, billing, and reporting procedures.
Proficient user of Excel and billing/ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and systematic thinking.
