Corporate Legal Specialist

We are looking for a Corporate Legal Specialist to join an international company in Kazakhstan. This is a specialist-level position for a legal professional with 3–4 years of relevant experience who is ready to work on a broad range of legal matters in an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the company's business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Support corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
• Provide legal advice on contractual, regulatory, intellectual property, technology, and distribution matters.
• Support dispute resolution processes, including communication with external lawyers and relevant authorities.
• Assist with ethics and compliance matters, internal policies, and legal risk management.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and regional legal teams on day-to-day legal matters.

Requirements

• University degree in Law.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in an international company or law firm.
• Good knowledge of Kazakhstan legislation and commercial law.
• Experience in contract drafting, review, and legal advisory.
• Fluency in English and Russian.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with international teams.
• Kazakhstan citizenship is required due to the nature of the role and the need to interact with local government authorities.
