Reporting Specialist / Financial Reporting Specialist

Orbis Kazakhstan is looking for a Reporting Specialist with strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on experience in financial reporting to join our Finance team and contribute to the preparation and development of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate financial data from the Group’s companies and business divisions;
• Prepare consolidated management and financial reports for Orbis Kazakhstan;
• Review financial data submitted by Group companies and ensure its accuracy and quality;
• Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances;
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
• Prepare supporting schedules, analytical materials, and explanations for financial statements;
• Maintain and update the Group’s IFRS accounting policies in line with changes in standards and reporting requirements;
• Provide methodological support to Group companies on IFRS and accounting policy matters;
• Work closely with finance teams across subsidiaries and business divisions;
• Support external auditors during the audit of consolidated financial statements;
• Participate in the improvement and automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Economics, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, or a related area;
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS;
• Experience in preparing or auditing consolidated financial statements;
• Good understanding of consolidation principles, intercompany transactions, and consolidation adjustments;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• English proficiency sufficient to work with IFRS standards and professional documentation;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.

Will Be an Advantage

• Previous experience with a Big Four firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC);
• ACCA qualification or ongoing progress toward ACCA certification.
