Commercial manager ZARA HOME

About the Role

As Area Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial performance and development of all Zara Home stores across Kazakhstan.

You will spend significant time in stores, work closely with Store Managers and office team, and ensure strong business results, high operational standards, engaged teams, and an excellent customer experience.

The role includes regular travel within the country, as well as occasional international business trips.

What You Will Do

You will lead and develop Store Managers and store teams, promote Zara Home values, and help create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment; manage sales budgets, monitor key performance indicators, and develop action plans to improve sales, productivity, operating margin, and profitability; ensure high standards of customer care, product presentation, store image, health and safety, and daily store operations.

You will also oversee all areas of loss control, including stock loss, inventory procedures, theft prevention, and cash loss.

Regular store visits will be an important part of the role. You will review processes, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure company standards are consistently followed.

You will support new store openings and participate in team development, talent identification, training, and assessment activities. You will also maintain close communication with commercial, product, HR, and operational teams and contribute to sustainability and brand-development initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced fashion-retail leader with:

• regional or multi-store management experience in fashion retail;
• strong commercial and analytical skills;
• experience with sales budgets, profitability, KPIs, and action planning;
• strong people-development and leadership skills;
• experience in customer service, operations, product, and loss control;
• the ability to travel regularly;
• conversational English.

The ideal candidate is confident working in a fast-paced environment, can balance commercial priorities with people development, and is comfortable making decisions across several locations.
