Junior IT Service Desk Specialist

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Specialist to join KPMG in Almaty. In this role, you will provide first-line IT support, ensuring the smooth operation of end-user devices, systems, and applications. You will help colleagues resolve technical issues, maintain IT equipment, and contribute to delivering high-quality IT support services across the firm.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Install and upgrade computer systems, hardware, and software to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide first-line technical support, troubleshooting user hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and support multi-functional devices, including printers, scanners, and copiers.
• Participate in different kinds of projects, including cross-functional, operational, and infrastructure initiatives.

You're the perfect fit for this role, if you:

• Have at least 6 months of experience in a similar IT support role (L1), providing hands-on technical support.
• Possess a solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems, with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Are familiar with installing and configuring operating systems and office productivity software.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Are customer-service oriented, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Are proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
