Assistant/Associate Professor in Applied Psychology

SDU University invites applications for a faculty position in the Applied Psychology Educational Program (English-medium instruction).
We are seeking a qualified candidate with a PhD degree in Psychology, Applied Psychology,
Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.

• Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in English;
• Deliver courses such as:
• Research Methods in Psychology;
• Neuropsychology;
• Statistics in Psychology;
• Develop and update course syllabi, teaching materials, and assessment methods;
• Supervise student research projects and theses;
• Conduct high-quality research and publish articles in international peer-reviewed journals;
• Participate in departmental, university, and professional activities;
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic initiatives.

• Requirements

• PhD degree in Psychology, Applied Psychology, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field;
• Proven experience teaching at the university level in English;
• English proficiency at B2–C1 level (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent international certificates are an advantage);
• Research publications in reputable international journals (Scopus and/or Web of Science indexed journals preferred);
• Expertise in psychological research methods, quantitative data analysis, statistics, and neuropsychology;
• Experience supervising student research projects and theses is an advantage.
