Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) is a newly established, internationally oriented technical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, offering engineering education in partnership with leading international institutions. The University invites applications from qualified candidates for the following full-time faculty position.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Linear Algebra, covering vector spaces, matrix theory, eigenvalues/eigenvectors, and linear transformations, in support of the university's engineering curricula. The position also includes course preparation, student mentoring, assessment, and participation in departmental and university activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field
• Strong record of teaching linear algebra at the undergraduate level
• Experience with problem-based and active learning methods is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory sessions as required by the course
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program learning outcomes
• Advise and mentor students; hold regular office hours
• Engage in curriculum development, departmental service, and continuous improvement of teaching quality
• Contribute to the University's research and academic community where applicable
