Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) is a newly established, internationally oriented technical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, offering engineering education in partnership with leading international institutions. The University invites applications from qualified candidates for the following full-time faculty position.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will teach English for Engineering, developing students' technical reading, writing, and oral communication skills for engineering contexts. The position also includes course preparation, student mentoring, assessment, and participation in departmental and university activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field
• Experience teaching English for Specific/Academic Purposes (ESP/EAP)
• Familiarity with engineering terminology and technical communication is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory sessions as required by the course
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program learning outcomes
• Advise and mentor students; hold regular office hours
• Engage in curriculum development, departmental service, and continuous improvement of teaching quality
• Contribute to the University's research and academic community where applicable
