Data Scientist (ML / GenAI)

Andersen is hiring a Data Scientist (ML / GenAI) for a project developing AI-powered digital banking solutions and personalized financial services on a cloud-native platform.

The customer is a mobile-only digital bank offering modern financial services through an app-based experience. The organization provides features such as virtual cards, multi-currency accounts, savings tools, and goal-based financial planning, along with innovative products that support personal and group savings. Known for its user-centric approach and continuous product innovation, the bank has received industry recognition for digital excellence and customer experience.

The project is focused on developing and scaling a cloud-native, mobile-first digital banking platform that delivers AI-driven and personalized financial services. It includes expanding digital banking capabilities, launching new products and features, and supporting the platform’s growth across new markets while continuously enhancing customer experience and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining ML models (credit scoring, fraud detection, recommendation systems).
• Performing model training, evaluation, tuning, and validation.
• Translating business requirements into ML features and model logic.
• Collaborating with SMEs to incorporate domain knowledge.
• Supporting deployment and monitoring of models in production.

Must-haves:

• Experience in Data Science / ML engineering + GenAI for 3+ years.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning and model evaluation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with credit scoring, fraud detection, or recommendation models.
• Strong Python skills (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with GenAI/LLMs (prompting, embeddings, fine-tuning).
• Experience with feature engineering and data preprocessing.
• Exposure to financial domain datasets and risk models.
• Good understanding of statistics and data analysis.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with MLOps tools and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of real-time decisioning systems.
