Data Scientist

We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist who will help build trusted, data-driven insights and predictive models to improve Planning & Scheduling processes and support a broader transformation program focused on automation, AI/ML adoption, and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, prepare, and analyse complex datasets.
• Develop data models and predictive analytics solutions.
• Identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities.
• Deliver actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and technology teams to productionise solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to validate and gain approval for developed models.

Main deliverables:

• An MVP predictive model estimating job effort across two major product lines.
• Business-approved and trusted analytical models.
• Supporting data models and standardised data definitions.
• Data quality assessments and improvement recommendations.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with data modelling, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Familiarity with data architecture concepts.
• Experience with operational/planning environments and production data solutions is a plus.
