ML/AI Engineer

Andersen is hiring an ML/AI Engineer for a project developing AI-powered digital assistants, intelligent automation solutions, and enhanced customer service experience.

The customer is a well-established company operating in the financial services sector, providing a wide range of solutions for individual and corporate clients. With many years of industry experience, the organization focuses on delivering reliable, customer-centric services while continuously improving operational efficiency and digital capabilities. The company is undergoing ongoing modernization initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience, streamlining business processes, and supporting long-term growth through technology-driven innovation.

The project is focused on developing a multi-channel AI-powered assistant for motor insurance services. It includes conversational support for policy management, claim tracking, document handling, and intelligent customer assistance using AI and RAG technologies to improve service efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing AI orchestration components, including intent and slot extraction, policy engines, planning workflows, response composition, guardrails, and PII redaction mechanisms.
• Building and maintaining RAG-based solutions for policy and knowledge-base question answering.
• Implementing authenticated claim-status lookup and integration with backend systems.
• Developing, testing, and optimizing prompts to improve AI response quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant AI-driven solutions.
• Monitoring and continuously improving AI workflows, performance, and user experience.

Must-haves:

• Experience as an AI Engineer for 3+ years.
• Experience in LLM / GenAI application development.
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Strong skills in prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
• Experience integrating APIs, external tools, and AI services into applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with OCI Generative AI.
• Knowledge of Arabic NLP.
• Experience working in insurance or other regulated industries.
• Experience implementing AI guardrails, content controls, and PII handling mechanisms.
