Head of Laboratory

Organize, manage, and oversee all laboratory operations and activities.

Ensure laboratory testing, analysis, and research are conducted in accordance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and technical documentation.

Evaluate and verify the quality of pharmaceutical products and ensure compliance with established specifications.

Develop, implement, and monitor laboratory quality standards and procedures.

Ensure accurate maintenance of laboratory records, timely documentation, and reporting of analytical results.

Prepare reports and analyze quality-related data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory personnel, identifying training and professional development needs.

Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and quality control procedures.

Coordinate activities across chemical, analytical, microbiological, and biochemical laboratory functions, where applicable.

Initiate and implement process improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency, productivity, and quality performance.

Manage laboratory resources, equipment, and workflow to ensure operational excellence.

Higher education degree in Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline.

3–6 years of relevant laboratory management experience.

Proven experience leading and managing teams of 5–10 employees or more.

Strong knowledge of GMP principles and practical experience implementing GMP requirements within a Quality Control environment.

Experience managing pharmaceutical, analytical, microbiological, or biochemical laboratories is highly desirable.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in English; Russian and/or Uzbek for team communication; strong command of laboratory documentation practices.

Home-leave flights — two round-trip air tickets per year to your home country.
