As Laboratory Director you are reporting directly to the General Manager and being responsible for:

Accreditation Management:

· Lead efforts to achieve and maintain laboratory.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and prepare the laboratory for regular audits and inspections.

· Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality systems to meet accreditation standards.

· Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies.

· Conduct internal audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Leadership and Management:

· Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

· Guide research projects from concept to execution, ensuring scientific rigor and compliance with regulatory standards.

· Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategies and budget planning for the laboratory.

Research & Development (R&D):

· Ensure R&D projects are aligned with the company's objectives and meet all regulatory requirements.

· Support the development and validation of new methods, tests, and technologies to improve laboratory performance.

· Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between R&D, QA, production, and other departments.

Quality Assurance:

· Develop and implement quality management systems to track laboratory performance and troubleshoot issues.

· Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing laboratory accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

· Collaborate with QA team to design and implement corrective actions to address non-compliance issues.

Budget and Resource Management:

· Manage laboratory budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with business goals.

· Oversee procurement of laboratory equipment, reagents, and other resources, ensuring they meet required standards.

· Ensure the laboratory maintains proper inventory levels and manages supplies cost-effectively.

Reporting and Documentation:

· Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation, including lab reports, research findings, and quality assurance records.

· Ensure proper data management practices are followed, and that records are accurate and complete for audits and inspections.

If you have...

· Minimum Bachelor Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry or related field).

· Work experience in a laboratory management role, preferred with laboratory accreditation experience.

· Strong knowledge of regulatory standards.

· Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with laboratory information management systems and other related software.

· Fluent in Russian and English at least B1-B2.
