Compliance Specialist

Duties:

• Compliance Monitoring: Track changes in laws, regulations, and regulatory policies across Central Asian countries. Analyze enforcement trends and assess their impact on the company’s compliance framework and business operations.
• Compliance Review: Conduct compliance reviews of commercial contracts, agreements, and internal/external documents. Identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations to ensure alignment with local regulations and company standards.
• Compliance Inspection: Perform routine compliance inspections in high-risk areas by reviewing invoices, supporting documents, and operational records. Identify potential risks and support timely corrective actions.
• Compliance Incident Management: Assist in investigating compliance-related incidents, collect and analyze relevant information, identify applicable legal requirements, and support effective incident resolution.
• Regulatory & External Communication: Maintain communication with regulatory authorities, audit institutions, certification bodies, and industry associations when required. Support the company in addressing regulatory inquiries and compliance matters.
• Compliance Training & Operations Support: Support daily compliance operations, including organizing compliance meetings, tracking action plans, managing compliance documentation, and responding to employee inquiries. Assist in promoting compliance culture through training programs, awareness campaigns, examinations, and internal communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, Jurisprudence, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles within multinational companies, law firms, or large organizations. Outstanding recent graduates with strong legal backgrounds may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of civil and commercial laws within Central Asian countries and ability to interpret legal requirements in a business environment.
• Experience in contract review, legal risk assessment, compliance investigations, or regulatory affairs is preferred.
• Familiarity with export control, anti-bribery, financial compliance, or related regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
• Fluent in Russian and English, with strong legal drafting, interpretation, and translation skills. Chinese language proficiency will be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality awareness, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.

Working conditions:

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.
• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).
• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7)
• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Working language: Russian/English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
