Reports to: Commercial Strategy & Commercial Excellence Manager

Role Purpose
The Commercial Excellence Executive supports business performance across Vision Care and Surgical Vision by ensuring high-quality execution of commercial processes, analytical support, and delivery of Commercial Excellence initiatives.
The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, supporting day‑to‑day commercial activities, and driving projects aimed at increasing effectiveness, transparency, and discipline across commercial operations.
This position acts as a key operational and analytical partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, BI and Commercial Operations, ensuring that tools, processes, and data are used consistently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Support & Commercial Effectiveness
- Support day‑to‑day execution of commercial processes and tools (Commercial Policies, Sell-out reporting System, Sell-in promos, Target setting process etc).
- Ensure timely and accurate operational support to Sales and cross‑functional teams (Sales, Records Coordinators, Legal, Finance, GS).
- Monitor adherence to defined commercial rules, processes, and guidelines.
- Identify execution inefficiencies and propose improvement actions.
2. Commercial Reporting & Performance Tracking
- In collaboration with BI and agency maintain regular commercial reports and dashboards (sell‑in/sell‑out/Stock, Chanel PL, Discount calculators, GTN accruals, Sell-in promos dashboards etc).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across reports. Support performance tracking vs targets and provide insights on deviations and opportunities.
- Work closely with BI and Finance on data alignment and validation.
3. Process Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support, develop and timely update commercial processes and SOPs. (Pricing SOP, Surgical Vision commercial SOP (Equipment, Consignment etc), Retro and OFD processes etc.)
- Collect feedback from Sales and other stakeholders to identify process gaps.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to simplify, standardize, and optimize commercial workflows. - Ensure processes are clearly communicated and easy to use for field teams.
4. Project Support & Coordination
- Lead and participate in Commercial Excellence and Commercial Operations projects as a project team lead (OFD) or member or workstream owner (Promo Tool, Equipment SOP, Consignment SOP others).
- Support project planning, timelines, tracking of deliverables, and coordination of stakeholders. Prepare project materials, presentations, and status updates.
- Support implementation and post‑launch monitoring of new tools, processes, or initiatives.
5. Documentation, Compliance & Governance
- Support preparation and maintenance of commercial documentation (guidelines, toolkits, instructions).
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of commercial activities.
- Support audit readiness and compliance checks in alignment with internal policies and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, Management or related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in Process Excellence, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, Finance or similar roles.
Experience in Medical Devices, Pharma, FMCG, Optics, or related industries is an advantage.
Hands‑on experience with commercial data, reporting, and operational processes. - Understanding of B2B / B2B2C commercial models.
Strong analytical and data handling skills.
Understanding of commercial KPIs and performance metrics.
Ability to work with processes, guidelines, and operational frameworks.
Technical Skills
