KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and oversee aerodrome wildlife hazard management activities, including the implementation of bird and wildlife strike risk mitigation programs to ensure safe aircraft operations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with aerodrome vehicle and personnel movement regulations, as well as ensure the proper provision of aircraft marshalling and follow-me services.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise seasonal aerodrome maintenance activities, including winter operations (snow and ice control) and summer airfield maintenance programs.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supply of materials, equipment, and operational resources required for Aerodrome Services, ensuring availability and cost-effective utilization.
- Organize, implement, and monitor Low Visibility Procedures (LVP) to maintain safe and efficient aerodrome operations during reduced visibility conditions.
- Ensure compliance with national civil aviation regulations, airport operational procedures, and applicable international standards related to aerodrome operations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, airport stakeholders, and operational departments on matters related to aerodrome safety and operational continuity.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher education in Transport Services (specialization in Aerodrome Operations Support) or Architecture and Construction (specialization in Construction of Roads and Aerodromes, Industrial and Civil Construction, or related fields).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aerodrome operations support within the civil aviation industry.
- Proven practical experience in successful interaction and coordination with the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK).
- Experience in airside operations, aerodrome maintenance, and operational safety management will be considered an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of the civil aviation regulatory framework of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
