Job Summary:

The Head of Fleet Management is responsible for leading the Fleet Management function with a strong focus on operational excellence, analytics, process optimization, and digital transformation. The role is expected to build data-driven fleet operations by implementing performance monitoring, telematics, fuel consumption analytics, and operational reporting to improve efficiency, safety, and cost control.

Rather than requiring deep technical fleet expertise, the position is intended for a strong leader with an analytical mindset who can quickly understand fleet operations, establish performance standards, and drive continuous improvement through data and technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Fleet Management function and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet operations.
• Develop performance dashboards and analytical reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Drive the implementation and effective use of telematics, GPS tracking, and fleet management systems.
• Analyze fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Develop KPIs, performance metrics, and governance standards for fleet operations.
• Lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives within Fleet Management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Maintenance teams to improve fleet performance.
• Manage fleet budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities using data-driven analysis.
• Lead supplier relationships related to fleet technologies, telematics, and operational services.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety standards and company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Fleet Management team while promoting accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, or operations management.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience managing large-scale fleets (500+ vehicles preferred).
• Experience in aviation, transportation, logistics, or heavy equipment environments is desirable.
• Fleet Management Systems and Telematics.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Asset Lifecycle Management.
• Budgeting and Financial Analysis.
• Contract and Vendor Management.
• Transportation Safety and Regulatory Compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI is preferred.

WHAT DO WE OFFER:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, business analytics, process improvement, logistics, transportation, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using operational data to improve business performance.
• Experience implementing reporting systems, dashboards, KPIs, or business intelligence solutions.
• Experience leading digital transformation or process automation initiatives is highly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience with telematics, GPS systems, IoT solutions, or fleet management software is considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory.
• Fleet, aviation, transportation, or logistics industry experience is desirable but not required. Candidates from other industries with strong leadership and analytical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

• Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00)
