Events & Ecosystem Coordinator
Department: Marketing & Communications NU Impact Foundation

Role Description

As an Events & Ecosystem Coordinator at NU Impact Foundation, you will be responsible for managing the Foundation’s events and coordinating communication across its ecosystem.

The role combines event management with operational coordination. You will oversee the full cycle of key events from concept to execution and post-event follow-up ensuring each event contributes to visibility, partnerships, and donor engagement.

In parallel, you will act as a coordination point between the Foundation and its affiliated structures, helping maintain a consistent communication flow, collecting content opportunities, and aligning activities across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flagship events (annual forums, demo days, space openings) from concept to post-event follow-up;
• Organize donor-focused events (private dinners, partner visits);
• Coordinate media tours and visits for journalists, bloggers, and investors;
• Support the organization of annual initiatives such as awards or large-scale public events;
• Ensure content production for each event (photo, video, coordination with contractors, handover to SMM team);

• Run regular content syncs with affiliated structures to collect updates and align communication priorities;
• Maintain and update an internal system for classifying events by priority;
• Monitor and support adherence to communication and branding guidelines;
• Collect and structure content opportunities across the ecosystem for further use in communications;

• Manage event budgets, estimates, and coordination with vendors and finance teams;
• Track basic media coverage after events (publications, reach, visibility);
• Maintain and update contact databases (media, partners, donors, stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event management or a related role;
• Experience organizing events of different formats;
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities;
• Structured approach to work (planning, checklists, timelines);
• Understanding of how events translate into media and content opportunities;
• Kazakh and Russian (required);
• English (B1+ or higher).
