We are looking for a strong leader with experience in international audit firms (Big4) or leading banks to head the Financial Audit Department and ensure a high level of control, transparency, and compliance with group standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Financial Audit Department
- Design and implement a risk-based audit plan
- Conduct audits of financial statements (local GAAP / IFRS) and key banking processes
- Assess the effectiveness of the internal control system (ICS) and risk management framework
- Identify key risks and provide practical, value-added recommendations
- Collaborate with external auditors (including Big4) and regulators
- Prepare reports for the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee
- Manage and develop the team (task setting, coaching, performance management)
- Implement modern audit approaches, including data-driven audit and analytical tools
Requirements:
- Higher education in Finance, Economics, or Audit
- 7+ years of experience in Big4 (preferred) or leading banks
- At least 3 years of experience managing an audit function or team
- Strong knowledge of bank financial reporting (including IFRS)
- Knowledge of internal audit standards (IIA)
- Hands-on experience in building and assessing internal control systems
- Experience working with regulators and external auditors
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- English proficiency B2+ (mandatory)

- Experience in Big4: Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG
- Experience in large banks
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CIA)
- Experience in applying data analytics in audit (Power BI, SQL, etc.)
