The company is a member of Efes Beer Group, which is a multinational group in the beverage industry specializing in the production and sale of beer and non-alcoholic beverages in Turkey, Eastern Europe and the CIS. Efes Kazakhstan owns two beer production plants in Almaty and Karaganda, as well as regional representative offices in Kazakhstan. We are glad to invite candidates to consider our vacancy of Sales Operation Control & Healthcheck Manager.

The Sales Operation Control & Healthcheck Manager plays a key role in safeguarding the Company’s business reputation, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements across all sales-related activities. This role contributes to the Company’s long-term success and sustainable development by promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in the sales function.

The position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all sales operations and activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and the highest ethical standards. The role focuses on protecting the integrity of the sales function, minimizing compliance risks, and maintaining the Company’s reputation as an organization committed to ethical business practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor sales budgets of the Sales Department, dealers, and distributors to ensure proper allocation and use of funds, prevent unauthorized expenses, and review requests from contractor organizations.

  • Oversee commercial investments, discounts, trade programs, debt recoveries, and other sales channel expenditures to ensure alignment with commercial decisions, Company policies (Anadolu Efes), and corporate governance requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with business practices by frontline teams, dealers, distributors, and their employees (both off-payroll and on-payroll).

  • Conduct internal audits, reviews, and inspections to evaluate the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of financial and operational information within the Sales Department and its partners.

  • Prepare regular reports on the execution of the sales strategy across channels, roles (TT ASM, SPV, SR), and partners (dealers and distributors), and present findings and recommendations to management.

  • Identify deviations, potential compliance risks, and signs of unethical behavior; conduct internal investigations (including ethical cases) and oversee communication and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans aimed at addressing violations and improving processes identified during audits, inspections, and investigations.

  • Organize and conduct field audits at dealers, distributors, and retail outlets to assess: compliance with Company standards, proper safeguarding and intended use of Company assets, adherence to pricing policies, correct utilization of trade investments.

  • Analyze sales channel data, trends, and practices to identify emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen internal control systems.

  • Participate in the development, update, and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and standards related to compliance, commercial ethics, and internal control.

  • Monitor the execution of agreements and contracts with dealers, distributors, and partners to ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements.

  • Develop and implement recommendations to improve business processes within the Sales Department, increasing operational efficiency, transparency, and risk mitigation.

  • Provide guidance and training to Sales Department employees on internal controls, risk management, commercial ethics, and Company policies.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders by providing required documentation and supporting audit and inspection processes.

  • Regularly report to management on the status of the internal control system, risk levels, and the effectiveness of audits and control activities.

Professional Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Internal Control, Compliance, Finance, External Audit, or a similar governance-related role, preferably within an FMCG or distribution environment.

  • Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework related to sales operations, distribution of finished goods, production, and marketing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Solid knowledge of sales planning and forecasting processes, including development of short- and long-term sales plans and consumer demand analysis methodologies.

  • Experience in commercial investment control, sales channel monitoring, and financial/operational auditing is considered a strong advantage.

  • Advanced user of SAP, MS Excel, and MS Office, with the ability to work efficiently with analytical tools and digital resources required for business monitoring and reporting.

  • Strong analytical capability with experience working with large data sets, financial indicators, and operational performance metrics.
