Haileybury Astana is seeking an Admissions Assistant to provide administrative support to the Admissions team and serve as a contact center operator. The role involves answering incoming calls from prospective parents, responding to inquiries, addressing customer service concerns, and providing general information.

Start date: End of February

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Admissions department.
  • Manages admissions documents, including printing, bundling, scanning, and filing as required.
  • Prepares reports, enrollment records, and transfer certificates for new, current, and departing students.
  • Maintains accurate tracking and archiving of paper documents in ISAMS.
  • Ensures the accuracy of information in the National Pupil Database (NOBD) as required by government regulations.
  • Assembles welcome kits for visitors.
  • Translates documents and communications between English, Russian, and Kazakh as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Assists with reception-related inquiries when necessary.
  • Performs any other duties as required

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
  • Strong customer service skills and knowledge of service principles.
  • High proficiency in computer programs and data entry.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in handling various situations and interactions.
  • Experience working with ICT systems and databases.
