Lead Design Engineer: Instrumentation & Control DCS

Review of design concepts and, if necessary, presenting its comments to the design concept, timely submission of comments in case of any deviations from the requirements
Control and ensuring the preparation of appropriate volume of main documents of detailed design stage
Participating on behalf of the Company in P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, Plot Plan review sessions, quantitative risk assessment and 3D model review meetings, maintainability and operability reviews organized by the EPC Contractor, and ensuring that these technical results will be prepared in accordance with the
Review of Instrument diagrams & control system configuration
Review of ICSS specifications and drawings and Performance and drawings of a fire and gas detection system
Review of Control panel assembly, Preparation and/or review of Instrumentation power supply (single-line diagrams)
Preparation and/or review of Functional logic diagram
Preparation and/or review of DCS (I/O List)
Manages the technical attachments and scope descriptions to all fabrication and construction contracts and the timely delivery to all purchase orders.
Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers.
Monitor project controls within discipline, test, maintain and monitor control systems design criteria.
Provision of both management and technical leadership to turnover of the DCS scope of work to support pre-commissioning, hot commissioning gated process to start-up and hand over.

Requirements:

Higher Technical Education (University Degree in Engineering) in the field of Instrumentation & automation and control/APCS/Instrumentation.
PMI Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP)
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the discipline concerned
Work experience (at least 1 project) in a similar position from Customer side or PMC consultant in EPCC projects in an energy, oil and gas industry (GPP, GCC, refinery, LNG, GTL, full scale field development, international pipeline systems or other project of similar scope and complexity)
Experience in working on projects according to Lead Engineer: Instrumentation & Control DCS
Experience in design and analysis of acceptance documentation is required.
IPMA Level B certificate or equivalent (will be prefer)
