MISSION
Provide strategic financial leadership for Kazakhstan operations, ensuring informed decision-making, compliance with HM Group guidelines, and efficient resource utilization. Oversee all financial functions - including controlling, treasury, tax, IT, and shared services - while driving value creation through cost efficiency, cash generation, and risk management aligned with Group objectives.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Direct and optimize all financial operations, including reporting, planning, controlling, treasury, tax, IT, and Shared Service Center activities, ensuring compliance with Group standards and local regulations.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, Group standards, and statutory requirements; ensure full compliance with tax and legal obligations.
- Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes; prepare and present financial insights for Board and management reviews.
- Controlling & Analysis: Monitor performance through KPI reporting, cost control, and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and mitigate risks.
- Cash & Risk Management: Maintain robust cash flow policies, manage working capital, and ensure financial stability; support M&A due diligence and risk assessments.
- Leadership & Governance: Develop and lead high-performing teams, ensure succession planning, and drive adherence to Group leadership principles.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROFILE
Education
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field with a focus on Finance
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years in finance within mid- or large-scale production industries; extractive industry experience preferred
- At least 4 years in a senior management role
- Strong expertise in financial and management reporting; solid knowledge of international accounting standards
- SAP experience is an advantage
