ERP Finance Systems IT Lead

We are looking for an experienced ERP & Finance Systems Lead to oversee the management, optimization, and evolution of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. This role acts as a bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring that global accounting standards are effectively translated into system requirements and functionalities. The position will also lead ERP-related projects such as upgrades, integrations, and vendor transitions.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of applications from planning through release and post-implementation support.
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Partner with business leaders, product owners and technology teams to align delivery with organizational objectives.
• Communicate progress, risks and dependencies to senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as the escalation point for delivery challenges or cross-team conflicts.
• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs for application delivery and support.
• Drive automation, standardization, and optimization of delivery processes.
• Ensure compliance with security, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to IT strategy by aligning application delivery initiatives with business goals.
• Support budgeting, capacity planning and vendor management.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance application delivery capability.
• Own and manage the company's ERP system (1C, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
• Translate global finance and accounting requirements (IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations) into ERP processes and configurations.
• Drive ERP roadmap and strategy, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs.
• Lead ERP upgrade, migration, and replacement projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee system configuration, integrations and customizations across finance and operational modules.
• Develop and enforce governance, compliance and reporting standards.
• Provide training and support for end-users, ensuring adoption of best practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
• Stay current with ERP trends, financial regulations and technology best practices.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP systems management, ideally with finance module focus.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, IFRS, GAAP, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more ERP platforms (1C, SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, etc.).
• Proven experience leading ERP implementation, upgrade, or replacement projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a "translator" between finance and IT.
• Experience managing vendors, integrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes (Service Design, Transition, Operation).
• Experience in vendor negotiations and SLA management.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and grow high-performing teams.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.

Preferred Certifications

• Finance/Accounting: ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
• ERP Systems: 1C, SAP FI/CO Certification, Oracle Financials Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance etc.
• Project/Process Management: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
• English: Upper-Intermediate
