Description:The
Local Events & Partnerships Manager plays a key role in building and engaging the local startup community through events, collaborations, and ecosystem partnerships. This role involves managing the full cycle of startup-related events — from planning to execution — and maintaining strong relationships with partners, founders, and local innovation players.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, event management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, startup ecosystem development, or partnership coordination.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in preparing event materials, managing logistics, and working with speakers or partners.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and Russian (Uzbek — preferred).
Responsibilities:- Conduct negotiations with partners and coordinate joint activities for startup-related events.
- Collaborate closely with the events department on planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Prepare event merchandise and promotional materials (banners, visuals, etc.).
- Draft and provide information and technical specifications for PR and communications teams.
- Prepare briefs for speakers and moderators.
- Support and engage the startup community, maintaining active communication with ecosystem players.
- Develop and manage loyal partnerships with local startups, accelerators, and tech organizations.
- Maintain and regularly update the event database (participants, partners, results).
- Oversee event logistics and handle organizational questions on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in startup accelerators, coworking spaces, or innovation hubs.
- Understanding of startup ecosystem dynamics and community building.
- Creative mindset and experience in designing or curating event content.
