Job Purpose:
To lead and manage all HR functions within the international school, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, supporting the recruitment and retention of high-quality staff (both local and expatriate), and fostering a positive, diverse, and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and growth plans.
• Advise senior leadership on HR planning, staffing models, and organizational development.
• Maintain HR policies that support international education standards and comply with local laws.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for local and international hires.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies and platforms for global teacher hiring.
• Manage visa/work permit processes for expatriate staff.
3. Employee Relations & Wellbeing
• Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
• Address staff concerns, mediate conflicts, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Organize staff wellbeing programs and employee assistance services.
4. Compensation & Benefits
• Design and manage competitive compensation structures.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance-based increments.
• Benchmark international and local salary standards.
5. Performance Management & Development
• Implement effective appraisal systems for academic and non-academic staff.
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
• Support leadership development initiatives for department heads and future leaders.
6. Compliance & Policy
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data protection policies, and safeguarding practices.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR procedures, and contracts.
• Oversee health & safety and child protection protocols in coordination with relevant departments.
7. HR Administration
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (digital and physical).
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for senior leadership and the board.
• Oversee leave management, contract renewals, and exit procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in an educational or international setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment law (local and international).
• Experience working with expatriate employees and managing international contracts is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of local language is an asset.
